And then the end will come
This good news will be proclaimed throughout the whole world, as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations. We seek to do what Jesus tells us – to go and provide physical and spiritual healing and wholeness where there is suffering.
Springboard to the nations
God had empowered our crazy little community and residency program to be a springboard to the nations.
Springboard to springboards
There is much work to be done, but the laborers are few. We’ve found that God uses domestic springboards like ours to multiply laborers to the nations. So it seems to make sense to multiply the laborer multipliers, right? God has enabled us to be involved in the starting of other health centers that will train others to go as well. And now we’re starting to see graduates starting new health centers.
Preparation for international work is sewn into the fabric of what we do. From overseas workers now living amidst our community (both long-term to those with us on short breaks) to the frequent prayer gatherings for healing among the nations, role models are ever-present. We bring in experienced workers from all over the world one evening per month to speak to the residency about various aspects of this challenging type of work. We also send our residents overseas during both their second and third years. The second year trip is generally spent learning on the ground from established programs, while the third year trip is tailored to a location strategic for that resident.
There are 15 strategic areas where we hope to establish medical work. Our objective is to mobilize three resources: Money, prayer, and teams for the purpose of bringing healing to these locations. P15 is not a sending agency. It is a committed group of followers of Jesus who want to partner together to complete the work He sent us to do.
